Wiki(Boot)Leaks: adiZero II & adipure11Pro – More Info!

Following our exclusive leak of the adiZero 2s, we’ve been seeing more and more information about the newest boots adidas are set to release in 2012, as well as the new adipures, the adipure11Pro. Today, thanks to hbhidalgo007 over at the Big Soccer forums, we’ve got our hands on some images providing more information on both of these boots.

adipure11Pro
The one thing that we haven’t talked as much about with the adipure11Pro is their weight. At 235 grams they will not be as light as the super light AdiPure SLs but they will be lighter than the current AdiPure IVs which will be a selling point for these boots.  In comparison to other boots on the market, they would be lighter than the CTR Maestri II Elites by around 15 grams and only a couple of grams heavier than the Nike Tiempo Legend IV so still very light!

If you can’t tell we’ve altered this image because the original text was really faint. This is a basic outline of what to expect from the 11Pros technology wise. The one thing that I think would be interesting to find out is how heavy this MiCoach sensor will be. Personally I feel that it could be adding a considerable amount of weight to the boot, I’ve seen pictures that suggest the MiCoach sensor will be removable so maybe people who have little to no use of it will just take it out completely. These boots will be priced at $150US which comes as no surprise as they are around the same price point as the AdiPower Predators. Jordon brought this up in the last article but these 11Pros seriously look like they have an identity crisis. Their name suggests heritage but the technology in the boots nulls that claim. One thing not mentioned in this is the 360 Suppert Straddle that reminds me very much of Umbro’s A-Frame Cradle and if it acts anything like it, the fit of these boots will be incredible.
adiZero II
With these adiZeros (We’re not sure what to call them because the catalog is still referring to them as adiZeros, not adiZero IIs) it seems adidas will be hiking up the price of the regular synthetic model to $245US, which means that the adiZero SLs probably will cost more than $300US, not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. For a much detailed look at nformation on the adiZeros you can check out Jordon’s post here.
That’s all for today, which one of these boots are you most excited for?
